OLIVER’S FOOD LIBRARY

Borrow our knowledge

Welcome to Oliver’s food library - a new kind of gathering where we explore the food we eat, the choices we make and the stories behind what ends up on our plate. Forget cookery lessons and complicated nutritional lectures, this is something a little different. Each Food Library takes one subject and opens it up. Is extra virgin olive oil really better? Does organic make a difference? Why do some foods satisfy us while others leave us wanting more? Oat milk or dairy? Some evenings might change the way you shop or might change the way you taste, cook or think about a familiar ingredient. One hour with like minded people, discussing, questioning and discovering. Food is full with questions, let’s start asking them. The attendance to the Oliver’s food demonstrations is free however, we do ask you to register for the evening by emailing us. You will receive a ticket code and the details - time, address et cetera - for the evening.

NOVEMBERS DATE AND LOCATION WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE BY THE 10TH OF OCTOBER 2026

Sign up to hear about upcoming Food Library gatherings (once a month) and receive the notes of the evening plus the occasional food notes from Ton. Your details will be treated with respect and you can of course unsubscribe at any time. You can contact us by emailing to tonandolivers@gmail.com

Come for the food, stay for the conversation.
