From my early twenties I always wanted to be a chef but I didn’t like the idea of being merely a chef. It was 8 years ago after meeting Hans & Suzanne that I finely figured out what was missing. Hans & Suzanne own a fabulous health retreat in Northamptonshire were the rich and famous and the not so famous come and stay from all over the world to detox and rejuvenate.
I started to work with Hans & Suzanne and discovered and learned the effects that diet has upon a person. I also discovered that healthy cooking some times leaves a bad taste in your mouth. So over the last 8 years I started to work towards a balance between health and taste in the kitchen. A little less choice but more thought is how I like to describe it. No diets, as diets concentrate on weight loss and not on health and taste.
We all strive to make those little health changes that will see us dancing in our late eighties to ABBA but it has to be easy, slotting in to your daily routine without too much hassle and it has to be fun, guilt free. With the Health & Taste packages you will be able to bridge the gap between advice and practical day to day implementation.
The last 8 years I have been teaching almost daily practical, healthy, nutritional information to clients. I decided to take the next step and formulate HEALTH & TASTE packages that you can enjoy within your immediate environment.
HEALTH & TASTE DEMONSTRATIONS
A food demonstration last 2 hours and small food samples are served through out.
There is a choice of four:

A minimum attendance of 4 guests and a maximum of 12 guests
HEALTH & TASTE DAY PACKAGE
We arrive at 9:00 hours to start the day at 10:00 hours with
A food demonstration for 1.5 hours. There is a choice of four:

Health & Taste Fish and Seafood
Health & Taste Vegetables
Health & Taste Desserts
Lunch at 12:30 hours
A sharing lunch consists of a variety of “Ottolenghi style dishes”
The food library
At 14:00 hours you have the chance for 1.5 hours to fire your questions about nutrition and food to a qualified nutritionist and a professional chef.
Mise en Place
At 17:30 hours we start the preparations for dinner and whilst we do this it is another opportunity for you to ask more about the practical skills, kitchen secrets and time savings tips in a kitchen.
Dinner is at 19:00 hours and selection of eight dishes which will embody all the health benefits that we discussed during the day. Think Gordon Ramsey meet Ottolenghi. It almost goes without saying that if you have any dietary requirements then of course we can accommodate this. Just let us know when you make your reservation.
Dinner is served at 19:00 hours and at 21:00 hours we will head for home, having left the kitchen as we found it, spotless.
Two days later
We will send you all the information, recipes and tips in a pdf document so you can relive and create again the dishes that you enjoyed on your day with us.
